Moon Gazing | Hard Enamel Pin
This pin was designed in celebration of the upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the "mooncake festival." My friends showed me some really cute mooncake designs and I was inspired to design this pin.
A mooncake is a Chinese bakery product traditionally eaten during the Mid-Autumn Festival. The festival is about lunar appreciation and Moon watching, and mooncakes are regarded as a delicacy. Mooncakes are offered between friends or at family gatherings while celebrating the festival.
Why the bunny? Mid-Autumn festival is based on the legend of Chang'e, the moon goddess who lived on the moon with her pet rabbit.
