Shipping Policy

PSA: Once your package is in USPS hands, they are responsible for the delivery of your package. Please contact your post office first if something goes array with your package.

Custom & import taxes: Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. I am not responsible for delays due to customs.

Please be advise that domestic US packages will take up to 7-days to arrive, while international packages can take up to 3-6 months to arrive. What are your order processing times?

Order processing takes anywhere from 2-7 days. 

Shipping will take place ONCE a week, either on Wednesday or Friday. Orders are picked up by USPS, instead of being dropped off daily, as previously, due to the current pandemic to minimize contact and to practice social distancing.

I do not ship within 24 hours. I always ship after 24 hours to allow payment processing, and if you require to cancel, update or change your order/shipping address. If you require an order to arrive ASAP, I suggest you plan ahead or email me to clarify when I will be shipping.

Please remember, Pins & Needle is run by me, a single individual. I try my best to ship within this time frame of 2-3 days unless otherwise specified.

Do you have express shipping?

For U.S. domestic, there is USPS priority shipping, but if you require other express shipping (FedEx or UPS), please send me an e-mail with the information below. International shipping, this is not an option when you place an order. If you require express shipping, please e-mail me with the following:

  • order number

  • name

  • how fast do you require your shipping to be

Do you offer shipping insurance?

All U.S. domestic (starting 09/21/2019) and international packages are insured! All international packages will be shipped through Global Post. Packages are insured up to $100. For orders over $200, only $100 will be covered, unless you would like additional coverage which will be extra.

Is there tracking for international packages?

Yes. All packages are shipped with tracking, but tracking in your country may vary. For domestic shipping tracking, please track through USPS. For international packages, please track your shipping through Global Post. 

Tracking for international packages may vary depending on your country. Once it leaves U.S. shipping ports, all tracking will be updated through the countries it will go through before it goes to your country. 

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

Shipping and delivery times may vary depending on your location. Here are the estimated delivery time frames, from my experience:

United States (domestic shipping): 2-7 days
Canada: 2-4 weeks
International (everywhere else): 3-8 weeks, or more depending on your location.
I think my package is lost.

Please contact your local post office first. Unfortunately, I see the same thing you do. Once your package is in USPS hands, it out of my hands and the situation is uncontrollable to me. Your best chance is to contact your post office FIRST, before contacting me.

If your package was marked as delivered, but no where to be found, there is a chance that it will show up in a few days, or it was accidentally delivered to the wrong address from your postal delivery worker. If it is still no where to be found after a few days, please let me know.

If it has taken longer than the estimated shipping times, or if your package is lost, please contact your local post office for any updated shipping information. Even though there is tracking, not all countries will update the tracking.

 

Standard grade pins are pins that have little to no flaw. Flaws are usually not noticeable and do not affect the overall aesthetic and design of the pin. Seconds grade pins are pins that have a range of minor to major flaws that are noticeable. Seconds grade pins are much more affordable and something you can wear and not be afraid to receive wear and tear damages. 

Any flaws on the side and back of the pins do not count towards the grading policy as these flaws are not noticeable when you wear them, and/or have on display on your pinboards. The only flaws that would be counted are if there are deep scratch marks, or peeling metal plating, on the side that is affecting the front of the pin. This might be something I have missed or something that happened during shipping.

There will be a 36 hour grace period where you can claim the difference between the original price to the sale price, only if applicable. This will not be automatically done, but will only be done when you email me your claim. Please remember, I am one person running this small shop, therefore I am unable to keep track of every order.

For domestic shipping, please contact USPS customer service at 1-800-275-8777. Once packages are handed over to USPS, this issue will be on their hands. Usually, they will investigate and help you find your lost or delayed package. 

For international packages, please check your tracking information on Global Post. Once your package leaves the U.S., there is nothing Global Post or USPS can do in terms of tracking. If it looks like it should be arriving to your country, but tracking has stopped, please contact your local post office.

I'm sorry, but I cannot do that. It is illegal and I will be held responsible with a fine. You are responsible for paying your country's VAT. If insurance was purchased for the package and the package was lost or damaged during transit, the full value of the order cannot be claimed if the customs declaration value was set to your convince. Customs will be set to "merchandise" and correspond to the same value of the items purchased in the shop.

Pre-orders are open until all the open slots are filled. But pre-orders usually take 3-6 weeks for production, shipping to me, quality checking, then processing your orders. For accurate time frames, please refer to the information on the product listing.

Please be patient during this time. Or you can wait till the product arrives so you do not have to wait for the pre-order period.

The order will be shipped once the pre-order item has arrived. If you do not want to wait/have your order on hold, please purchase in-stock items separate from pre-order items.
